With this development, Binance has become one of the first leading crypto-asset platforms to achieve international information security standards. This certification was audited and certified by DNV, which is the world’s largest accredited registrar and classification society, and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the sole national accreditation body recognized by the British government, making it the first crypto-associated entity to have been verified by the DNV and UKAS.
To achieve this certification, the crypto-platform passed an examination of 114 criteria across 14 categories. This included security policy, asset management, operation security, and information systems acquisition, development, and maintenance.
In an official statement addressing the certification, Binance CEO CZ said,

We appreciate the great amount of trust that our users have placed in us. We are committed to continuously securing our users’ information and assets by further strengthening our security system”
