Gemini, the new generation cryptocurrency exchange, announces the new feature on its platform. The platform will support debit cards to buy cryptocurrencies.
To use the debit cards, you have to add cards into your account using a website or mobile application. You can use one of the currencies that are supported by the platform, such as the U.S. dollar (USD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Canadian dollar (CAD), and Australian dollar (AUD). The platform accepts only Visa and Mastercard debit cards. Currently, prepaid cards and credit cards are not supported. Also, you can add funds as regular ACH bank transfers to your account. According to the exchange, adding the option as debit cards will improve simplicity and reliability.
Gemini is the digital currency exchange that allows customers to buy, sell, and store digital assets. The identical twin brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss announced Gemini in 2013 June. In September 2018, Gemini announced their new product, the Gemini dollar (GUSD), and launched the trading on the same day. Additionally, on 28 May 2020, Gemini integrated its app to the Samsung Blockchain Wallet to easily buy, sell, and trade cryptos.
The new improvements in the cryptocurrency sector will increase the reliability of the cryptocurrencies. These features will encourage users to adopt cryptocurrencies, and it will serve the increase of the trade volume of them.
