Speaking on the ‘The Pomp Podcast’ with host Anthony Pompliano, Dan Tapiero says he is bullish on Bitcoin and Gold. The macro investor thinks roughly $15 trillion in wealth could flow into Bitcoin and gold throughout the next decade.

Anthony Pompliano recently interviewed Dan Tapiero, an experienced Global Macro investor and co-founder of GBI, about Bitcoin and Gold. The investor, who is also the co-founder of 10T Holdings, a digital asset private equity fund, made a very upbeat speech on these two assets. Tapiero says financial institutions can invest up to 10% of their portfolio in gold and 5% in bitcoin over ten years.

The investor also added in the podcast that some institutions may even change this rate. He said that some institutional investors and financial whales who are accustomed to investing in venture capital can invest 10-15% of their portfolios in each.

“That’s a huge, huge chunk – I mean 15% of $100 trillion is $15 trillion. That could be $15 trillion to flow into [gold and Bitcoin]. Or more. I think it’ll eventually be more.”

Bitcoin Is the King

During his speech, Tapiero discussed the future position of gold and bitcoins, as well as which asset will retain the edge. According to Tapiero, bitcoin is much more than gold and could be the value protocol for the Internet. On the other hand, gold is a store of value, but Bitcoin is a whole network, and that’s why he said that Bitcoin is “the fastest horse.”

“In the next five years, I can see gold at $4,000, so that’s double. But if gold is at $4,000, Bitcoin is probably somewhere between $300,000 and $500,000, so that’s a 20, 30x.”

“There is no question that Bitcoin is going to outperform gold.”

At the time of writing, according to data from CoinMarketCap, the leading cryptocurrency is trading around $ 19,227. BTC is up 3.49% in the last 24 hours and 6.18% in the past seven days. The leading cryptocurrency is currently trying to renew its 2017 record.
